Abstracts and Presentations from People in Research the INVOLVE 2006 Conference.
Public involvement in research has come a long way since our first conference in 1998. In 2006, there is less talk about whether to involve members of the public and more talk about how to do it well and how to measure its impact
There were over 90 presentations at the conference, the abstracts are all available on the website and wherever possible we have added a copy of the presentation. To move through the power point presentations click on your mouse.
Please note that copies of presentations placed on this website should not be copied, used or modified without the presenter's permission.
You can search the presentations by the type of session:
Themed Sessions
These sessions were an opportunity to focus on and explore key issues in some depth. Key issues identified in these themed sessions are outlined in the conference report

Talks and Workshops
Talks and workshops are an opportunity to learn about some of the most recent developments in public involvement in research and find out about the work that others are doing.
Posters and poster talks
These were on display during the conference and poster talk sessions allowed presenters to talk informally for 5 minutes about their work and answer questions from the audience.
Thank you to you all for helping to make this such a successful event.
