2014 Conference
Abstract: PRIMER is a patient, carer and public involvement group based at the Centre for Primary Care (CPC) at the University of Manchester. The group was set up in 2009 and works closely with researchers to encourage and support patient and public involvement (PPI). PRIMER is the first PPI group in the UK to focus on PPI in a primary care research context. The group has 15 members (5 of whom participate remotely) with a diverse range of expertise and experience of using primary care services.
