We aim to match the research excellence of the Department with robust, creative and sustainable involvement and engagement of patients carers and the public throughout the research cycle.
We will do this by;
• providing training and development for researchers and lay people
• recording and monitoring involvement activities to demonstrate impact
• collaborating with partner organisations across research, service delivery and innovation
• facilitating two-way dialogue between researchers and the public through local events and activities
• using engagement activities to broaden research participation and involvement
