We are a service user  controlled organisation which applies its research findings, which have a social perspective, in the field of women’s alcohol use. It collaborates in applied research with the university of Wolverhampton and has links with the universities of Plymouth and Bristol.

Public involvement in research

We involve other members of the public, some service users and some not, in helping women with alcohol issues, based in understandings gained through earlier academic service user controlled research. We plan to do further research to improve women’s health and wellbeing.

Groups are currently held in Bristol but will eventually be developed in other parts of the country, particularly in the Wolverhampton area, where they will be evaluated as part of our research projects.
