Abstract: Aim: To assess the use of an evaluation tool in a range of health organisations, engagement activities and patient groups. Methods: The tool involves asking professionals and patient partners to complete three questionnaires. The people who used the tool were asked to comment on whether it was appropriate and practical to use. They gave feedback in the survey and took part in interviews and group discussions. Results: The questionnaires' basic properties were rated highly by all participants. They also made suggestions as to how to improve the questionnaires for different engagement activities and types of organisation, and when is the right time to use it. Conclusions;:The authors provide guidance on future use of this PPEET tool.
