Public involvement in research
Our Public Involvement in Research group has been active since 2010 and consists for a steering groups which meets four times a year, led by lay members, and a group for people who are interested in taking part in research studies in specific areas of interest. We raise public awareness about research at various events, support researchers both by direct involvement and information giving, provide training for public and clinicians/researchers and generally act as ‘Research Ambassadors’ for Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
