East of England Public Involvement Research Partnership Group
Description
Membership is open to any organisation or group promoting patient, carer and public involvement in health and social care research in the region. This includes NIHR, NHS, voluntary, patient led research groups and partner organisations.
Public involvement in research
This group was formerly known as the Research Design Service Working Group and has recently widened its remit and membership to provide a more collaborative forum in response to the recommendations from the NIHR strategic review of public involvement ‘Going The Extra Mile’. Meetings are held twice a year in Cambridge and we are keen to widen membership to groups and organisations working with diverse communities of interest.
