EQUIP is a collaboration of trainers with expertise in a diverse range of health-related fields, all with a public involvement focus. This report is on the training they provided to support consumers and researchers in 11 London Primary Care Projects from 2001 to 2004. They discuss the difficulties they faced as well as reporting on the training workshops they held and their approach to providing outreach to each of the 11 projects.
