Title: MACA SURE (Service User Research and Evaluation)

Aims: To enable people who use mental health services to : A. Define what they want from the services they use B. Determine the extent to which services provide what they want. C. To develop and publish a handbook to enable others to do the same.

Research project description: The research team comprises of service users, a service user research Consultant (Peter Beresford) and the Co-coordinator. Aside form the original funding application service users have been involved fully in every aspect of the project from the recruitment of the Co-ordinator onwards. The research process and methods will be determined by service users with support provided by the Co-ordinator.
