Project timescale: From 01 April, 2011 to 31 March, 2014
(Added to website on: 04 October, 2010 - Date last updated: 29 October, 2010)

Source of funding:

Aims: To demonstrate if it is possible to use gene therapy which targets corneal dystrophy (CD) changes, with assessment of safety and effectiveness in a novel pre clinical model of CD. Corneal dystrophy is an inherited condition that causes clouding of the area at the front of the eye called the cornea.

Research designs used:
Cohort Study
